Position Overview:

Reporting to the Brand Manager, BetterLife's Graphic designer creates visual communications for a variety of media, including websites, magazines, advertisements, and signage. This role will also design logos, packaging, displays, and other graphics for commercial and promotional needs. In this role, the Graphic Designer Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and team members to produce content and develop ideas. They may also coordinate with internal teams, such as marketing, throughout the design process.

What you'll do :Work on a variety of creative print and digital materials including mailers, flyers, brochures, presentations, logos, promotional materials, web elements, and emailsBalance multiple projects and tasks while maintaining accuracy and pushing ideas to reach a high-quality solutionStay focused on priorities and timelines to ensure materials are being produced in a timely manner with little to no errorWork closely with the team members in open, collaborative conversations as to how to approach projects and create solutions that ensure best practices and brand consistencyTeam up with Member Engagement to support their member events through print and digital channelsThis job description describes the general nature and scope of responsibilities for this position. What you should bring to the table

:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications, related field, or equivalent experience.One to three years of general design experience preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A sharp eye for color, balance, layout, and organization.Solid Adobe Creative Cloud skills particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.Knowledge of or willingness to learn technology skills such as Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Wrike Project management software; Constant Contact, HubSpot; website creation platforms.Highly developed attention to detail.Strong organizational skills.Excellent time management skills.Ability to work on a PC platform.Why you should be excited:

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: This is a hybrid position.

Travel: This position requires minimal to no travel. On occasion, may be asked to attend seminars or conferences.

Physical requirements: This position is performed in an office environment (could be done remotely) and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Individuals must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
