Music Therapist (LCAT)
Upper Manhattan Mental Health Center, Inc., New York, NY, United States
Fee For Service - Creative Arts Therapist, with specialty in Music Therapy.
Must have New York State LCAT; or Provisional License Acceptable.
Provide Individual, Family and Group Music Therapy for Children in a Large Manhattan Mental Health Clinic.
Collaborate with Clinical Team to provide treatment to Children and Adolescent's with a full range of psychiatric needs.
Provide services evenings after school and weekends. Caseload of 15 to 20 clients.
Requirements
Must be experienced working with Children and Families via Music Therapy Treatment modalities. Must e able to monitor progress and risk factors/mental status through out treatment.
At least 1 to 2 years experience working with children and families.
Ability to use multiple instruments such as keyboard and guitar with the children and families.
Services will initially be remote with movement towards a hybrid model of both remote tele-mental health services and in person group services in the fall.
