The individuals we serve enjoy improved learning outcomes, increased confidence, independence and a greater appreciation for differences.WHAT YOU WILL DO· Implement music therapy programs to address the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of patients used to promote wellness, manage stress, alleviate pain, express feelings, enhance memory, and improve communication.· Serves as a resource person and guide providing musical experiences that will aid in patient care.· Designs and conducts music sessions for individuals and groups, based on client needs.· Coordinates therapy with other team members and shares response to music therapy intervention.WHAT YOU WILL BRING· Bachelor's Degree· Board Certified Music Therapist· 2 years’ experience preferred· Pediatric Care - 1 year or more· Behavioral/Mental Health - 1 year or more
