Overview
As a Civil CAD Designer for Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC), you'll work with the Civil Engineering, Solid Waste, and Mining Teams to produce design and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D to include site plans, grading & drainage plans, utility plans, erosion and sedimentation control plans, storm water plans and landfill cell development plans. You'll calculate quantities to be used in construction estimates and landfill cell development analyses, determine earthwork volumes (cuts and fills) based on existing and proposed topography, identify appropriate construction control systems on plans (i.e., baselines, stationing, control points, etc.) and prepare the same. You'll provide value-oriented design suggestions, review drawings and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience (preferred);Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
