CPH is looking for well-qualified professional in our Sanford, Florida office for the following position:

CAD Technician - Water/Wastewater Utilities Design

CPH is seeking a full-time Civil Designer/CAD Technician to work on local and national Utility projects. This person could participate in all facets of the design process, including preparation of presentations, conceptual design development and final construction document development.

Hiring Bonus of upto $1,000 for selected candidate!

Duties IncludePreparation of accurate architectural presentation, design, and construction documents in REVIT.Development and production of conceptual design and construction plans in AutoCAD/ Civil 3D and REVIT. Strong Emphasis on CAD and REVIT capabilities including project setup, modifications, speed, and accuracy.Collaboration and coordination of design with the project team including engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients.Research and Interpretation of relevant codes and client requirements.Implementation and utilization of established CAD and REVIT standards and templates.Preparation of data and calculation of quantities, areas, etc. customary in civil engineering plan design.Assistance with compiling construction plans from all disciplines and submittal to agencies having jurisdiction.Periodic travel to project sites for site investigations, measurements, and construction observation.Requirements

Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and REVIT is required.Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Water/Wastewater lines and Treatment Plant Design is required.Adaptable and receptive to instruction from others.Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a teamFlexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.Detail-oriented, quality conscious, organized, reliable and self-motivated.Highly motivated, team player, with good communication skills and ready to design private, public, and utility projects with little supervision.Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.Compensation & Benefits
