Position Summary:A comprehensive understanding of restoration techniques used for cleaning contents and overseeing pack-outs. Must have keen skills in organization, documentation, and time management. You will be the point of contact to the Project Manager for overseeing the maintenance, inventory and organization of job contents, to facilitate efficient completion of a project.

Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Operations Manager and/or General Manager daily. You will use loss details, such as type of loss and occupancy type, to prepare the mobilization of resources for detailed cleaning and restoration. You will conduct a walk-through on the jobsite with the Project Manager, to focus on safety, customer concerns, business interruption needs, and stabilization. You will oversee the efficient productivity of the crew on the jobsite to list, photograph, clean, pack, store and deliver restorable and non-restorable contents using our inventory system.

Responsible for daily operations for pack-out and pack-in, onsite contents cleaning and packing, inventory and maintenance of goods on jobs.

Communication with the Project Manager daily regarding job details and job progress.

Ensure all work and time is accounted for throughout the entire project.

Maintain and organize contents from job to the warehouse.

Tracking of the location and the condition of goods.

Review documentation to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Develop the full scope of services prior to starting the job, to communicate summary costs for each job, including staffing requirements, job hours and consumable use for project planning.

Review the full scope of services with the Project Manager prior to submitting scope to the client.

Create and finalize resource needs and timelines, the project organizational chart, projected milestones, and defining the detailed project tasks and work orders. Coordinate efficient turnaround time for contents processing.

Ensures the operations of the project are completed, documented, and communicated properly to all parties.

Inspect and evaluate the progress of the project daily.

Communicates customer needs with the Project Manager daily as the job progresses. These customer needs, as well as the actual progression of the project, will drive the priorities of the Project Manager.

Manage and plan objectives for the day for Project Managers and define expectations for each project, including daily work orders for everyone on site.

Coordinate specialty cleaning, such as clothing, textiles, electronics, artwork, and high valued items.

Coordinate with Project Manager and Adjusters, Business Owners, and Homeowners for viewing and disposal of all items, as well as final walk-through.

Obtain necessary authorizations to allow for disposal of content.

Knowledge and experience with Contents Tracking Software.

Maintain good housekeeping to ensure cleanliness of contents, cleanliness of ozone room, safety and non-cluttered worksites.

Ensure constant attention to detail, and constant safeguarding of warehouse and other peoples property and information.

Ensure all efforts are made for finalization of documentation, and audit all documentation necessary for final invoice.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to successfully fulfill the major duties and responsibilities above.

Some key requirements to fulfill the position may include, but not be limited to:

Demonstrated ability to manage and work with other people.

Ability to read, write, and speak the English language to communicate with others, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.

Advanced problem-solving skills including proper handling of complex scheduling issues, demanding customer requests, and critical conflict resolution.

Excellent customer service, and exceptional organizational skills to ensure proper workforce utilization, documentation completion, and overall time management.

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced, high pressure work environment.

Shift hours may vary depending on the size and scope of the project but will typically consist of eight (8) hours. Additional working hours may be required as needed to complete assignments and task projects within scheduled timeline.

Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time with approximately sixty percent (60%) of the time evaluating the progress of the site by conducting site walk throughs.

Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.

Qualifications:

IICRC certified in Fire and Smoke and/or Odor Control preferred.

IICRC certified in Water Damage Restoration Technician preferred.

2-4 years experience in contents restoration.

Knowledge and experience with chemical products, disposal and use on varying surfaces.

Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices.

Ability to work within a team or independently as needed.

Multi or Bi-lingual language skills are preferred but not required.

Criminal Record Check.

Physical Demands:

Frequent lifting from 5-40 lbs., unassisted (from 35-65% of the time).

Occasional lifting from 41 lbs. +, assisted (up to 50% of the time).

Fit Testing

half and full-face mask as needed; annual certification required.

Working at Heights - over 5 feet, periodically.

Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
