A leading US retailer seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Product Designer to join the team in Bentonville, AR. In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping the vision for exceptional customer experiences while fostering a collaborative environment for cross-functional teams. MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO BENTONVILLE, ARKANSAS.What You'll DoLead the design strategy for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.Champion inclusive and user-centered design through all phases of the product lifecycle.Collaborate with design research to leverage user insights and inform design decisions.Facilitate design thinking workshops and effectively guide cross-functional teams through the design process.Craft compelling narratives and present design solutions with clarity and confidence to stakeholders at all levels.Partner with cross-functional teams to define a shared roadmap that balances business and technical considerations.Design high-fidelity experiences that are both beautiful and accessible to a broad range of users.Collaborate with the design system team to create and maintain scalable design components.Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with design trends across industries.We're looking for someone who:Possesses a strong design aesthetic that aligns with our brand identity and prioritizes inclusivity.Has a proven track record of leading design teams and shipping successful products in fast-paced environments.Demonstrates a strategic mindset and excels at simplifying complexity through systems thinking.Thrives in dynamic environments, adapts to shifting priorities, and delivers high-quality work within deadlines.Has extensive experience facilitating design thinking workshops and fostering collaboration.Is comfortable navigating ambiguity, motivating teams, and leading by example.Enjoys coaching and mentoring junior designers, fostering a positive team culture.Is a self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and a continuous improvement mindset.QualificationsWilling to relocate to Bentonville, AR and work onsite 5 days/week.Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Architecture, Digital Design, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in product design leadership roles.Exceptional portfolio showcasing elegant and user-centric design solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on empathy and inclusivity.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work on impactful projects that shape the customer experience for a leading retailer.Collaborative and supportive work environment.
