Collaborative, enthusiastic creative with a great eye and aesthetic who is looking for an opportunity to create eye-catching and engaging creative for the Lifetouch brand. This person is skilled at bringing concepts to life through execution in various marketing channels. Should have a portfolio that demonstrates experience creating campaigns, a strong design aesthetic and work that creatively solves problems. We appreciate people who are proactive, have a strong attention to detail and are interested in helping make the Lifetouch brand strong and relevant in the marketplace. You should have the ability to own projects through final execution, including creating strong relationships with key partners. Should have knowledge of key design software, aptitude to photo art direct and give retouching and editorial direction.

About the Role:

This Art Director role works within the Lifetouch Creative Team to collaboratively brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute key projects across channels and business lines as identified. This role works closely with cross functional teams and peer groups to deliver thoughtful, inspired solutions that engage customers and support revenue goals. This is a full-time position with direct reports.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Work collaboratively from concept to execution—define and bring to life the creative vision, bringing groundbreaking creative ideas and solutions to the tableLeads designers and copywriters in inspirational brainstorm sessions and helps to push creative concepts that work across multiple channels.Lead innovative thinking, with a test and learn mentalityPartners closely with cross-functional team members, presents ideas, articulates rationale and facilitates effective feedback and implementation.Active participation in project kickoffs, asking insightful questions to gain detail, clarification and alignment with Business PartnersJuggle a mix of long-term and quick-turnaround projects, often with overlapping priorities and urgencyShow professionalism in all aspects of your daily tasks, including taking feedback and edits with grace and positivityContinually adopt new tools and practices as the work evolvesCoach and mentor junior and mid-level designers, comfortable providing design feedback.Proactive, self-manages own creative projects.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Graphic Arts, Advertising or Fine Arts highly preferred, but will accept additional experience in lieu of formal education7+ years of work experience in design field3+ years working as an Art Director at an ad agency, web design firm, e-commerce company, Experience managing direct reportsPortfolio to showcase your skillsHands-on experience designing across a variety of marketing channelsFundamental knowledge of typography, grid systems, design systems, brand systems, color theory, and compositionGreat eye and aesthetic that compliments and elevates the Lifetouch brandUnderstanding and knowledge of advertising technology, digital marketing solutions and printAbility to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyBe self-motivated and a thoughtful, yet quick problem solverLow ego, balanced with confidence and a healthy sense of personal drive, ambition and ownershipA great attitude and flexibility towards business and its ever-changing, sometimes ambiguous natureSense of humor and the ability to have fun doing what you lovePerforms other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned.Other (knowledge, skills, and abilities)
