BaT's ever-growing community of knowledgeable users vets each listing so potential buyers can bid with confidence.

Your Impact

BaT continues to grow, and we are looking for a Senior Product Designer who is excited about personalization and the future direction of ML and AI! Our ideal candidate is experienced in product design initiatives, building design systems, and collaborating with product, engineering, and business folks to find elegant and practical solutions for user needs and business challenges. Interest in automotive culture and enthusiasm for the kind of vehicles featured daily on BaT is a huge plus!

You will report to and work closely with our Product Design Lead and be an integral member of the team throughout the entire product lifecycle.

This is a full-time position that can be done remotely with occasional travel required. Please note that we can only consider applicants from the following states: CA, CO, DE, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, NY, NC, OH, PA, RI, TX, VA, WA, WI.

What You'll DoYou will influence the shape of our products with research and data while executing high-quality detail-oriented design deliverables, user flow diagrams, interactive prototypes, and usable styles and markup.You will be responsible for collaborating with product and engineering teams in every phase of the process from initial discovery and user research to testing and final design/production.You will evaluate design opportunities through UX research and user testing/analytics data.You will build relationships with team members across disciplines.You will design flows and experiences that simplify complex interactions into usable products.You will advocate making our interfaces user-centered and accessible to people with disabilities and complete our accessibility training program.Who You Are

You have 6+ years of experience designing, building, and shipping web or mobile consumer products. Experience with two-sided marketplaces is even better!You can clearly convey user-centered design decisions while communicating strategic design direction and reinforcing brand guidelines.You have deep understanding of goals and pain points that will help us build efficient and delightful solutions for our users.You are highly proficient with design and prototyping tools like Figma.You have experience working with and evolving a design system.You have the ability to think big and understand complex feature sets.You are a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and proactively ask questions to solve problems.You have familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JSON.You are committed to user research and testing, accessibility, and inclusive design.You have a portfolio of design work showcasing a design approach based on user-centered design thinking, objective inputs, learnings, and skills.You care deeply about creating diverse and inclusive products.You have knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508 Refresh/WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA)-and an interest to learn more.

The base salary for this role is between $132 - 150K annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
