About the Job:

LaunchDarkly is looking for an experienced VP, Product Marketing to build, lead and grow our Product Marketing team. This team will understand our customers and market, define our target personas, develop messaging and positioning, develop and own net-new product plans, and support the broader commercial organization to give developers the power to build their best software and buyers the confidence to partner with LaunchDarkly.

At its core, you and your team needs to know our audience, know our value, and help connect the dots between the two. You'll actively help your team prioritize and coordinate, ideate and strategize cross-department with your peers in Product, Sales, Engineering and every other part of the business.

You are creative, technically adept, have grown up through the Product Management or Sales Engineering ranks, enjoy customer engagements, excel at influencing the influencers, are savvy at enabling the sales teams, and credible at informing product roadmap directions. You have the confidence to lead cross-functional programs and strategies across the executives, sales and marketing teams.Responsibilities:Own, build and improve on strong product positioning and messaging, based on a deep understanding of our customers, competitors, and overall marketUnderstand and support all sales channels via training, tools, and collateralExpand and update our go-to-market strategies and tactics, and facilitating the transition from a single-product organization to a product-portfolio driven oneTrack and manage a portfolio of GTM initiativesSupport your team and enable them to be at their best, connecting them to the resources they need when requiredCoordinate and collaborate with stakeholders across LaunchDarkly to execute on common goals, and gather feedbackQualifications:Product Marketing leadership experience in the DevOps ecosystemTechnical background preferably as a Software Developer, Product Manager, or Solutions EngineerStrong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across the companyStrong program management, process execution skills, and highly detail orientedAbility to evaluate and prioritize initiatives based on context and expected ROIPay:

Target pay range for a Level E1 in San Francisco/Bay Area: $275,000 - $308,000*

*Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
