Job Location: Raleigh/Durham, NC locale; Open to US remote candidates

Job Summary:

The Sr. Manager, Performance Marketing will play a key role in optimizing and growing our digital performance marketing practice through team growth and media management. In this role, you will be accountable for all aspects of performance marketing, from developing and maintaining relationships with platform partners and NMG members, managing and allocating budgets, developing or consulting on audience segmentation strategies, and communicating with stakeholders regarding industry trends and media performance.

Job Responsibilities:Serve as the subject matter expert for paid campaign performance while establishing global learnings to drive our collective industry strategies.Collaborate and work closely with internal account service leads and our vendor partner/shopper marketing teams to understand both business goals and available key-brand opportunities to scale existing marketing efforts.Propose and implement ad spend and organic strategies to maximize the reach, impressions and conversions in support of marketing targets.Design a comprehensive performance marketing strategy; including both execution and optimization of campaigns to drive qualified traffic and maximize results to achieve business objectives. Continuously monitor campaign performance, conduct A/B testing, and refine strategies to maximize marketing spend and improve ROI.Effective management and governance of performance marketing budget allocation at a monthly level.Participate in Member proposals, and new business pitchesStay current on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices.Lead the development of a strong culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, and iteration.Instill an analytical mindset in the team to ensure we can maximize the return of Member investments.Job Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related discipline is required, MBA a plus5+ years of experience in performance marketingAdvanced knowledge of paid media channels – with a key focus in SEM, Display, OTT/CTV and paid social.

Priority social channels are Meta, Pinterest and TikTok

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysisCurrent knowledge of industry, shopper, and consumer trendsAbility to manage multiple tasks for multiple stakeholders concurrentlyAbility to interpret / discuss complex strategies to inform activationStrong understanding of the application and optimization of data feeds in retargeting and shopping ad unitsDemonstrated ability to work independently and develop strategic solutionsHigh level of professionalism and excellent presentation skillsExperience working with SEO teams and/or working in an agency environment are a plusExperience in conversion configuration (e.g. CAPI, GTM) is a plusCandidate will be required to pass a background check screening upon offer of employment.Job Competencies:

Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.

General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
