Interior Designer

who is looking to advance their career in a creative environment dedicated to elevating the lifestyles of Senior Living Community residents through design.

The

Interior Designe r will oversee the design and decorative process for both working and residential living areas from start to finish. Deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the stakeholder to managing and executing the design.

What you'll do!Lead design projects from concept to completion, including developing design recommendations.Interpret, evaluate, and translate customer needs into rough plans.Schedule and attend Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) coordination meetings with team to confirm all furniture, finish, and fabric choices have been confirmed for FF&E orders. Verify fabric/leather yardage requirements.Coordinate with product and material vendors as needed for project development, presentation needs, pricing, and owner sign-off.Review FF&E installation plans and shop drawings for content and accuracy with designer input to ensure that FF&E is fully coordinated with all pertinent consultant drawings and design intent.Maintain procurement documents and spreadsheets to set project milestones and reports. Track purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for project bookkeeping and reconciliation. Prepare progress reports and quickly identify and resolve issues.Assist in the coordination of project/site cleaning, FF&E installation, troubleshooting and closeout, including punch lists and resolution, including repair or return of damaged items.Manage RUI Model/Respite program: Logistics, Inventory, and Procuring.Research and decide on materials and products sourcing.Visiting job sites to analyze space availability, design needs, and the purpose of the space.Arranging client visits and keeping everyone involved in the project appraised of its progresREQUIREMENTS

Experience in healthcare, senior facilities, retail, hotel, hospitality, hi- rise and mixed use preferred.Experience with FF&E procurement and specification.Experience in Business Development and SalesExpertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs.Excellent portfolio of previous worksCreative talent, imagination, and eye for designCommunication and presentation skillsWhat can RUI offer you?
