The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance the public visibility of the organization's programmatic work, with a focus on strengthening family engagement in education. This role involves fostering a cohesive brand image, leading a team to ensure consistency in all marketing and communication efforts, and expanding the organization's influence through compelling storytelling and media engagement. The Senior Managing Director will also be a key partner in maintaining the organization's brand in collaboration with the communications team based in Puerto Rico. Applicants for the Senior Managing Director position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 12-15 years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, or public affairs, with a proven track record of promoting the mission of mission-driven organizations. The role requires a leader with at least 5 years of experience in a senior communications or marketing role, who can set and execute a strategic vision, and is adept at building and leading high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to the values of equity and inclusion, with a strong background in brand narrative development, media relations, and social media strategy.
