We design future experience-driven innovation opportunities with empathy and compassion for people across the Samsung business portfolio. We design experiences based on in-depth user and market research to find insights and foresights as the foundation of problem identification.

We are looking for a talented designers, strategists and creative technologists to join our group and bring new energy to our process. You should be ready to help at all stages of product design, from identifying unmet and latent needs, discovering new design opportunities, designing new product concepts to applying technology creatively to solve real user problems and create radically new experiences that re-imagine the way we interact with products.

Position Summary:

The Senior UX Designer is responsible for creating beautiful, functional and desirable experiences, interfaces and services across a wide array of technologies. You will be able to identify users unmet needs via conducting various types of user research activities and understand how people use products, systems, or services to craft the desired user experience. You should be ready to work on all spectrum of experience design touch points/user journey and able to formulate the tangible solutions.

Work on products and features in close collaboration with other Designers and EngineersCrafting experiences that accomplish appropriately set goals, successfullyBuilding ideas that turn complex and confusing into simple and understandableTravel International and Domestic and work overtime when neededRequired Skills:

Bachelor's Degree, Master's Preferred in related field or or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience10+ years of UX Design with Project Management/Leadership, User Experience/InteractionAdvanced understanding of design-centered processes and methodologies for identifying and solving problemsAbility to conduct and lead User Research to identify users and generate synthetic insightsStrong understanding of design thinking, design principles, and experience design methodologies and their applicationsDesign hypothesis development, prototyping & testing, sketching & visualizing bold ideas and user scenariosUser-centric and innovative strategy for design and discoveryPitching and communicating the UX/UI concept to stakeholdersDocumentation creation: Scenarios, Wireframes, Visual Design, low & high-fidelity mockups, and prototypesTime management skills, attention to detail, and ability to think and act strategically and proactivelyBe clear, concise, have transparent communication style, willing to take action, and open to starting a project, idea, concept from scratch

Our total rewards programs are designed to motivate and engage exceptional talent. The base pay range for roles at this level is listed below, but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors-including the role's function and location as well as the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.

$188,400-$282,450 USD

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
