This position requires a local candidate.

The Marketing Assistant will provide creative and administrative support for the marketing department.

The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, helping to coordinate events, public relations efforts, marketing campaigns, social media, and member education on a variety of topics. The Marketing Assistant will provide branch support for supplies, marketing materials and other items that arise. This position will assist the department with day-to-day tasks and organization, maximizing the efforts of the Marketing Department to sell Pioneer Federal Credit Union.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the Marketing Department, also including branches and team members as needed. Maintains calendars and manages emails for the Marketing Department. Assists with the organization and development of campaigns, events and projects.Maintains inventory of marketing related supplies for the Credit Union and distributes supplies to branches as needed.Attend community events representing Pioneer Federal Credit UnionProvide support to Marketing and Business Development staff at exhibit and special event functions.Perform general administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, printing and handing internal marketing materials, scheduling appointments, answering emails and phone calls. Will be required to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Coordinate with Credit Union branch leadership in scheduling events and participationPerforms other related duties as required/assigned.Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum of one year of similar or related experience.

Education:

A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills

A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.

Other Skills

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Proficient with office business equipment, personal computer, and Microsoft Office.Professionalism inside and outside the organization when representing Pioneer Federal Credit Union.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of InDesign software a plus.Experience with online marketing campaigns a plus.Proficient in balancing multiple tasks in a deadline intensive environment.Familiarity with financial products and services a plusExcellent organizational skills, including the ability to balance multiple tasks in a deadline intensive environment.Regular and satisfactory attendance required.A satisfactory driving record and be able to drive a company car.Ability to work weekends or flexible schedule as needed; some holidays, Saturdays, and evenings may be required.Good working knowledge of the credit union, and how it functions, workflow, priority of work processes, legal requirements, and staff utilizationAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and get things done.Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining immense attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

This position is typical of a light-duty office position, but does also require the ability to lift, bend, and stoop, as well as move and carry heavy items in the course of preparing for and working special events. This position also requires the ability to ascend/descend stairs with items in hand as well as loading/unloading vehicles.
