Overview

The Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing Team with the tactical execution, coordination, and distribution of marketing communications, advertising, promotions, campaigns, social media initiatives, and efforts in alignment with corporate goals and objectives. This role will assist in the coordination, development and distribution of marketing materials for branches and some special events. This role is critical to the brand’s success in building positive, long-term and meaningful relationships by making emotional connections with our members, employees, and community partners.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following non-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations as well as Credit Union policies and procedures:

  • Support for all marketing collateral and content marketing in development for traditional, online, and social media platform
  • Manage a network of branch contacts to assist with marketing materials at branch locations
  • Manage all social media posts and boosts by leveraging campaigns, promotions, blogs, and events/sponsorships for member/consumer advocacy
  • Serves as back up for all digital emails and website updates
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the marketing department as requested such as invoice submission and tracking, mail merge, marketing calendar management, scanning, copying, filing,
  • spreadsheet management, photos/photo upload, expense reports, etc.
  • Organizes and coordinates ordering and inventory of promotional items, event items, retail merchandising, retail signage, props, awards, etc.
  • Assist in the creation of department and organizational presentations for staff meetings, board reports, annual reports/meetings, etc.

  • Provide overall general and project management support to the department’s functions and processes, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and timely to meet deadlines
  • Tracks and files all media coverage, promotion & campaign elements, department assets, and more as needed.
  • Official tracking of industry awards related to department efforts
  • Assist the Marketing team in the planning, coordination, and execution of internal Credit Union events such as the annual meeting, ribbon cuttings, all-staff meetings, philanthropic events, grandopenings, and promotional/branch events
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:Bachelor’s degree in related field, including Marketing, Communications, Journalism, related field, or relevant equivalent experience.

1-2+ years marketing communications experience in an administrative support role.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Creativity, an eye for design and a passion for creating marketing content and delivering messages in a clear, concise way.

Ability to understand business objectives, incorporate feedback, and produce solutions that communicate clearly and represent the brand.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $23.24-$34.86
