The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of 23 and managing a $3 million publishing operation, which includes the publication of up to 60 titles annually. This role involves collaborating with a Board of Directors to set the future course of the publishing program, exploring new operational efficiencies and revenue generation strategies, and devising a digital distribution strategy. The President & Publisher will also be instrumental in inspiring the editorial team, identifying publishing opportunities that reflect the values of the company, and serving as an ambassador to enhance the global reach and relevance of the publishing program. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in publishing, with at least 5 years in a leadership position, and demonstrate a strong alignment with the company's mission to present a perspective on contemporary issues from a faith-based standpoint. A proven track record in editorial acquisitions, financial acumen to manage the P&L, and excellent communication skills are essential. The role requires a strategic thinker who can ensure the long-term success of the publishing house while actively acquiring and publishing titles that resonate with the values and principles of the company.
