Together, we won't stop! The Sr User Experience Designer crafts innovative and engaging digital products for Broadband. Responsible for performing user-centered design activities related to Broadband products and/or web applications. The role will work with product and development teams to understand their design requirements and develop creative solutions for meeting those needs. This is a hybrid position required to be in-office at least 3 days a week. Responsibilities: Produces sketches, workflow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, design guidelines, style guides, and design systems. Works across functional teams to understand business and feature requirements. Works with UX teammates and stakeholders to understand user needs and requirements and business goals. Collaborates with IT engineering partner teams to understand the technical possibilities and constraints. Assesses and optimizes the performance of new and existing features by participating in conducting usability testing and interpreting analytics data. Conducts user research as needed, including but not limited to moderated user interviews, surveys, and card sorts; analyzes findings and presents them to project team. Communicates best practices for design and reasoning behind UX decisions to key stakeholders. Presents work to the user experience team, product team and executives for review and feedback. Builds successful partnerships within and outside the team. Educates on the importance of following a User-centered Design process. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in design-related field, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field + at least 5 years of experience working on an internal team as a UX designer. Advanced degree preferred 5 years of experience in UX design - building components for a design system from the ground up Experience creating end-to-end, user-centered design solutions across desktop and mobile devices Experience in usability testing tools Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity Experience working within Agile methodologies Highly motivated and detail oriented Works cross functionally with frontend engineers and product teams Think critically; understand/solve problems Needs to be comfortable with ambiguity; Adapt to frequent interruptions, changes in priorities and/or work locations Articulate and comprehend verbal and written information Must thrive in a fast paced environment; plan, prioritize, and structure daily activities Work under specific instruction; interact with others in a manner appropriate to the situation Portfolio of design work required At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States #LI-Corporate Washington Pay Range: $126,500 - $171,100 At T-Mobile, our benefits exemplify the spirit of One Team, Together!
