One of our partners is needing to add Two (2) Infrastructure Design Team Lead (DTL) personnel to their growing team. This role will be a

long-term contract that is looking for strong Infrastructure Engineers with design or architecture knowledge. These roles will be supported in a hybrid

basis out of the Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX areas.

Candidates must have the following skills to be considered and be able to convert permanently without assistance or sponsorship from the comapny.

Location: Irving, TX or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Rate: $60-$65/hr W2

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Design Team Lead to join our team within the Financial Crimes unit. This role is crucial for managing and resolving all infrastructure-related issues, ensuring the seamless operation and upgrade of our systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in system design and administration, particularly within large-scale environments in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Solution Design: Develop robust infrastructure solutions across Unix, Windows, Middleware, and Database environments.

System Administration: Oversee the administration, design, and support of systems, databases, and middleware in a large-scale environment.

End-of-Life Management: Lead the EOL process by determining necessary resources for new servers and coordinating with the CTI team for smooth server upgrades.

Application Deployment: Manage the implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of applications on Windows and Unix platforms.

Virtualization Technologies: Utilize knowledge of ESX/VMware/vSAN and other virtualization platforms to optimize our infrastructure.

Enterprise Automation: Implement and manage automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible to streamline operations.

GIS Compliance: Address and remediate GIS violations, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.

ERP Reporting: Provide detailed reports on ERP components, including justifications for any delays or modifications.

Autosys Setup: Configure Autosys on servers and develop metrics for presentation to leadership.

Technical Requirements: Gather and create technical requirements based on infrastructure needs.

Required Skills:

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: At least 8 years of expert-level solution design experience in one or more infrastructure areas such as Unix, Windows, Middleware, or Database.

Financial Services: Preferably, experience in system/database/middleware administration, design, and support within the financial services industry.

Comprehensive Knowledge: Strong understanding of the overall infrastructure domain, including the complete network and application development stack.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with VMware, Unix, F5, HTTP, and application server environments (middleware, databases like Teradata/Hadoop).

Communication Skills: Excellent ability to develop and deliver metrics and presentations to leadership.
