Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.The Raytheon Solutions Design & Integration (SDI) team is to research, develop and integrate cyber compliant standardized systems solutions using innovative designs to improve the execution efficiency and capability of Digital supported programs. SDI is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator/Designer to support the design, integration, and administration of system solutions within classified and unclassified program work environments. They will be responsible to work with senior engineers to determine system requirement, specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of Information Systems. They will also be responsible for assisting in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex system problems and developing and recommending courses of action where needed. This position requires direct on-site support at the Raytheon Marlborough, Mass location.What You Will Do:Provide leadership to support a varied range of administrative tasking, to include corrective/preventive maintenance, recurring operations functions, and system optimization.Coordinate technical and process document reviews and resolve system administration, engineering, and integration issues.Participate and lead technical meetings with team members and other program personnel and represent the organization in functional area matters.Provide IT systems administration/design support in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.Develop and coordinate IT technology strategies, roadmaps, and reference architectures.Analyze business requirements to develop technical solutions.Support proposal teams and technical review teams.Form effective business relationships and foster an open culture of collaboration.Perform technology evaluations, develop proof-of-concepts, and look for opportunities to introduce advanced Information Technologies into solutions and products.Develop and drive the use of common processes and tools across the program function.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically, a bachelor's degree and 8 years of direct experience or a master's degree and 5 years of direct experience.8+ years' experience providing technical solutions for IT systems.Experience with infrastructure technologies such as server operating systems, server hardware, compute, storage, networks, virtualization, encryption, and security.The ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer:Experience in developing systems designs, including architecture, ConOps, and deployment.Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.Organizational skills to include attention to detail, time management and ability to multitask.Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows, Red Hat, Ansible, VMware, Containerization, and Netapp Storage devices; Architectural and Security certifications such as TOGAF and CISSP.Candidate must have the ability to clearly articulate ideas, process steps, and technical data in written, graphical, and spoken dialogue.Familiarity with Government security controls including NISPOM, JAFAN, ICD 503 and the RMF.
