Responsibilities:Assist patrons with locating and checking out library materialsAnswer reference questions and provide research assistanceHelp patrons access and navigate library databases and online resourcesProvide excellent customer service and ensure a positive library experience for patronsAssist with library programs and events, such as storytimes and workshopsProcess new library materials, including cataloging and shelvingMaintain library inventory and ensure materials are organized and accessibleStay up-to-date with library policies and proceduresRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related fieldExperience working in a library or customer service settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with library systems and online resourcesAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented and organizedPassionate about providing quality library servicesBenefits
