Summary
The role of the Graphic Designer must have an eye for detail, yet capable of seeing the big picture and contributing to the success of the overall creative strategy. Produce highly creative visual work for print, outdoor, collateral and internet materials. Manages own projects, working within schedule requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Creates and designs materials, sometimes independently and sometimes based on the direction of managementWorks and effectively communicates with the creative director, creative manager, copywriters and account executives to create and produce clear, concise and effective materialsKeeps design standards and elements consistent with brand standards with a high level of accuracyStay up to date with latest graphic design techniques, styles and trends, as well as software technology.Design and create enticing graphics for a diverse array of deliverables including event brand guidelines, logos, infographics, executive presentations, proposal packages and marketing collateral.Generate creative ideas and execute work on own. Lead multiple projects from conception to completion simultaneously in accordance with deadlines.Actively participate in concept ideation while ensuring consistency and adherence to MMDC's brand style + voice.Ability to work on a MacExcellent design skills and creativityKnowledge of production for collateral including resolution, sizes and file types, as well as scanning, pre-press and print productionUnderstanding of photography and an eye for photos that will convey necessary messages for design goalsHighly organized, motivated and able to prioritize and multi-task under the pressure of deadlinesAbility to take design directionExcellent grammatical, spelling, proofreading abilities are preferred

Must complete Osha 10 Industry Training within 6 months of hire (company paid)
Education and/or Experience
Associates' Degree in Marketing or Advertising; or two years' marketing, advertising or graphic design related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must be able to possess a marijuana agent card and be 21 years of age or older.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office. Experience in WordPress and Web Design/Development is preferred.
