Marketing & Commercial Strategy, leads ideation, development and implementation of innovative marketing and commercial strategies by connecting consumer insights to business objectives across the five P’s (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People) to achieve aggressive driver revenue goals. They nurture and lead a talented team of Senior Managers and experienced professionals in driving weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual attendance, yield and revenue while balancing mid-to-long-term commercial growth opportunities. This executive develops and implements commercial strategies, marketing activations, and communications plans to generate visitation intent and conversion of key audiences; leads pipeline initiatives and strategies; and serves as a steward, advocate and driver of innovative cross-channel commercial opportunities. They are responsible for a multi-million-dollar annual marketing budget and ensuring accurate financial forecasts.

Additionally, this executive will identify future consumer opportunities, shape product and experience development, and demonstrate subject matter expertise for guest origins, geographic markets, and audience segments to deliver planned growth.

They must articulate and incorporate deep subject matter expertise to inform communications strategies and diagnose business performance, while leading key areas of the business from conception to delivery. Resort functional leaders, and is a vital, contributing member of the Commercial Strategy Leadership Team.

Key partners include Marketing and Sales Centers of Excellence, Public Relations / Public Affairs, Walt Disney Imagineering, Revenue Management & Analytics, Finance, and Operations.Basic QualificationsMinimum of 10 years’ experience with robust leadership in marketing, strategic planning, or branding

Champion of diversity and inclusion with experience developing insight-driven consumer strategies

Outstanding presentation, verbal and written skills with an ability to coach and impart learnings

Exceptional ability to generate long-term business growth strategies

Deep experience in marketing a major brand, including writing strategic input briefs and planning

Ability to curate and accurately interpret data from multiple sources, leverage data to synthesize a compelling story and develop actionable recommendations to address business needs

Preferred QualificationsBilingual desirable – Spanish

Minimum of three years’ experience as an executive in marketing, strategic planning or branding

Required EducationBachelor's degree in marketing related field

Preferred EducationMBA or related post-graduate degree

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $163,500 to $219,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
