Job Title:Director, OCVIBE Brand Marketing

Pay Details:The annual base salary range for this position in California is $100,000 to $150,000 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate's geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.

The Director, OCVIBE Brand Marketing is responsible for overseeing all aspects of district marketing, including driving awareness and anticipation, strategy development and the creation of marketing materials across various categories such as Market Hall, Retail, Residential, Office Spaces, Brand, Hotel Partnerships, Special Events, and Parking. This role involves ensuring cohesive and effective marketing campaigns, delivering compelling and consistent messaging across all channels for cross functional needs.

Responsibilities

Marketing Planning:Define and develop clear and measurable objectives for each marketing category, aligning with overall business goals and target audience preferencesDevelop strategic frameworks outlining key strategies and tactics to achieve marketing objectives, considering market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer insightsInfuse creative thinking and innovation into campaign development, creating unique and memorable experiences that resonate with target audiences and differentiate the OCVIBE brandDetermine budget allocations for each marketing plan, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI and achieve desired outcomesCollaborate closely with cross functional partners, Partnership, Development, etc to orchestrate a cohesive communication strategy, ensuring seamless messaging integration across all channelsMarketing Collateral:

Provide strategic direction and oversight for the creation and production of marketing materials, ensuring they reflect the OCVIBE brand identity and messaging guidelinesTailor marketing collateral to specific target audiences within each category, utilizing audience segmentation and personalization strategies to enhance engagement and relevanceEnsure marketing collateral is optimized for both print and digital channels, maintaining consistency in design, messaging, and branding across all touchpointsEnsure marketing materials meet brand standards, are error-free, and effectively communicate key messages to the intended audienceSegmentation/Performance Marketing:

Oversee the ongoing management and optimization of the OCVIBE website, ensuring it serves as an effective hub for brand information, content, and engagementDevelop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand visibility, drive audience engagement, and foster community-building across key social platformsDevelop and implement a content strategy that aligns with brand objectives and resonates with target audiences, creating engaging and relevant content for website, social media, and other digital channelsEstablish performance metrics and tracking mechanisms to monitor the progress and impact of strategic initiativesRegularly assess performance against established KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights through comprehensive performance reports and presentationsIntegrated Campaigns:

Take a holistic approach to campaign development, integrating marketing channels and touchpoints to create cohesive and impactful campaignsOptimize strategies for each marketing channel, leveraging the unique strengths of online advertising, social media, email marketing, PR, events, and partnerships to reach target audiences effectivelyEnsure consistency in messaging, branding, and creative elements across all integrated campaign components, providing a seamless and unified brand experience for consumersBrand Steward:

Leverage the OCVIBE brand identity, encompassing brand values, personality, and positioning in the marketManage the visual identity of the brand, including logo, colors, typography, and imagery, to ensure consistency and coherence across all brand touchpointsMaintain brand guidelines to provide clear direction and standards for internal teams and external partners, ensuring brand integrity and alignment in all brand-related activitiesExperiential Management:

Partner with Director of Media and Communications to plan and execute a variety of special events, activations, and promotions to create memorable experiences for customers and drive engagement within the OCVIBE communityIdentify strategic partnership opportunities to enhance event experiences, increase attendance, and amplify brand visibility through collaborations with relevant organizations, sponsorship collaboration, and influencersOversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, audiovisual equipment, and staffing, to ensure seamless execution and attendee satisfactionCross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, design, operations, and finance to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives and prioritiesFacilitate open communication and information sharing across departments, providing regular updates on marketing plans, campaign performance, and key milestones to foster collaboration and alignmentIntegrate resources and capabilities from cross-functional teams to support marketing initiatives, leveraging expertise and insights from different areas of the organization to enhance campaign effectiveness and efficiencyVendor and Agency Management:

Identify and select external vendors, agencies, and freelancers with relevant expertise and capabilities to support specific marketing initiatives and projectsMonitor and evaluate the performance of external partners, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, deadlines, and budgetary expectations while maintaining strong working relationshipsManage vendor and agency budgets effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness in deliverables and services while optimizing ROI on external partnershipsSpecifics:

Reports directly to the VP of OCVIBE Marketing and works closely with the Marketing Team, Cross-Functional Leaders, and internal and external agencies throughout the organizationPrepare and implement annual departmental budgetSpecial projects as assignedSkills

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in a marketing-related fieldStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholdersKnowledge of budgeting and resource allocation principlesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience in the entertainment or sports industry is a plus
