DescriptionTHE PRESERVATION SOCIETY OF NEWPORT COUNTY is searching for an experienced Content Marketer, Producer & Manager. You sit squarely in the center where consumer conversations and client business priorities intersect. You bring visibility of where the real opportunities lie to create meaningful connections while remaining consistent with the PSNC’s mission. You are savvy with social & media/content trends, are an exceptional collaborator and strong strategic relationship builder. You are proactive with ideas and understand the role of engaging content in a broad sense and how to customize across different channels. Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, preferably with a writing background yet up-to-date with new technologies and marketing trends. This is an in-person position and reports to the Director of Marketing.Content Creation and Development:Work with Director of Marketing and related third-party agencies on developing an in-house Content Studio and supplier network to create compelling content that is consistent with established pillars and channels.Utilize exceptional writing skills and knowledge of AP style guidelines to develop posting guides/content calendars.Collaborate with creative teams to produce creative compelling & optimized content and to engage audiences.Project Management:Create & manage content project schedules and contractors, estimates, and prepare project briefings and meetings.Actively monitor the progress of a project, align deliverables against contracts and estimatesContent Strategy Development:Collaborate on content & social strategies for PSNC as a whole and our properties individually.Together with our agency partner, develop social guidelines for posting cadence, look/feel, and resource deployment.Partner with Director of Marketing and agency to develop paid strategies.Develop internal content marketing strategies to engage all employees.Utilize community insights & industry trends to develop ideas.Social Listening & Engagement:Maintain deep understanding of social channels and design principles for all social platformsMonitor communities across platforms and engage in brand-aligned conversations as needed and time allows.Identify and connect with communities of interest, influencers and advocates across platforms.Attend events to build & strengthen relationships with advocates.Research and Reporting:Review performance reports with Director of Marketing and agency partner with clearly articulated recommendationsWork with agency partner to manage the PSNC’s Google Ad Grant, including reviewing monthly reports, submitting landing pages for ad development and exploring additional opportunities to utilize the grant.Utilize insights to evolve content creation in a measurable manner.Provide meaningful insights & recommended strategies for new opportunities.RequirementsThe desirable candidate will possess the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree5+ years professional experience in content marketing role with strategy development (required).Social media management, listening and analytics tools experience required (Hootsuite, Meltwater, Listen First, Sysymos, Brandwatch, etc.).Experience with content/ad creation & management tools such as Later, Creatopy, Capcut and others.Google Analytics (GA4) experience required. Google Ad Grant experience preferred.Experience with Influencer Marketing and Management preferred.Strategic thinker & proactive problem solver.Diligent multi-tasker who always meets deadlines.Clear communicator, strong presenter and networker.Enthusiastic collaborator with a desire to innovate.
