EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field

JOB REQUIREMENTS:A minimum of five (5) years of experience in leading marketing communications initiatives in a corporate environment, as well as experience with executive communication, web and/or social media experience.Two (2) years supervisory experience preferred.

FUNCTIONS:Serves as a source of direction, leadership, and supervision for the communications team. Aids and provides guidance in the establishment and monitoring of department objectives, and initiatives. Assures performance accountability as well as development of department staff.Prepares and manages the creation, development, and implementation of all communications materials, including but not limited to print and digital communications, press releases, internal communications, and website and social content. Oversees Association presence of social media (SM). Manage access authorities and develop timely and valuable content and assist regions/credit offices upon request.Maintains Association brand voice and brand integrity across all platforms. Oversees presence in social media and digital space. Manages access authorities and develops timely and valuable content and assists markets/credit offices upon request.Identifies and manages relationships with trade groups relevant to the Association's customer base and communications efforts. Manages media relationships and coordinates press inquiries.Develop contacts with media members, influencers, and community leaders. Represents CFC in outward-facing events and activities to further promote the Association while also participating in speaking engagements or panel discussions as needed, to continue developing relationships and partnerships to increase business for CFC.Develop and execute an internal communications strategy to ensure employees are informed on organizational news, events, and objectives. Collaborates with multiple internal stakeholders to deliver timely and consistent communications plans.Develops processes and programs that promote an understanding of and positively contribute to the customer journey value stream. Supports the Association's customer experience efforts. Manages external promotion of, and internal marketing-related training for, lending-related programs and initiatives.Manages the organization and distribution competition, market penetration and other related reports as needed.

PREFERRED SKILLS:General knowledge of accounting/financial systems.Specialized knowledge of accounting/finance principles.High producer of new loans.Ability to lead a team and supervise staff.Have a strong working knowledge of PCA and FLCA lending.Strong credit skills.Good communication skills and can motivate a team, including oral and written communication.Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications.Ability to interpret intermediate to advanced-level accounting/financial analyses under limited supervision.
