The Pearson US Higher Education Marketing team is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing to lead the digital marketing team. The Director of Digital Marketing will be responsible for planning, executing, measuring, and optimizing digital campaigns that contribute to share and revenue growth by delivering leads to the sales team and by developing and optimizing self-service adoption journeys.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Senior Director of Content Marketing to establish a high-level digital marketing strategy, KPIs, and lead generation/revenue goals

Collaborate with Directors of Product Marketing to understand the goals of product portfolio go to market plans and lead the development of campaigns designed to achieve those goals

Lead a team of Campaign Specialists and oversee the development and execution of digital campaigns that exceed defined KPIs and lead generation/revenue goals

Measure and report on the impact of digital campaigns. Use data to optimize campaigns in real time and to inform ongoing campaign strategy & tactics

Partner with the Sales Development team to ensure that the digital marketing team is delivering quality leads and to continuously improve the lead gen/lead qualification process

Work with technology and operations teams to create and optimize frictionless product discovery and adoption experiences for our customers through the effective use of marketing tech and improving the usability and functionality of our website

Foster a culture of excellence, inclusiveness and continuous improvement that motivates team members to do their best and that provides opportunities for collaboration, growth, and professional development.

Qualifications

5+ years of successful experience in a marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, or marketing strategy role

People leadership experience preferred but not required

Expert knowledge of higher education faculty customers, how faculty discover and adopt course content, and higher education content/courseware GTM motions strongly preferred

Demonstrated experience leveraging marketing tech to drive leads and adoption revenue

A demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and functions to drive measurable outcomes

High intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a strong desire to learn and continually improve how to leverage data, technology, and automation to engage prospects & customers

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

The minimum full-time salary range is between $125,000 - $130,000.
