The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00

A role with Target Guest Marketing Strategy is an opportunity to create clear and compelling strategies and tactics that engage guests at every touchpoint. The objective of this work is to drive enterprise sales, increase market share and deliver an amazing guest experience that is uniquely Target with the long-term goal of increasing loyalty and master brand equity. Additionally, Guest Marketing Strategists provide connectivity across all key partners, including Guest Insights, Media Strategy, Finance, Operations and creative agencies. You will apply your deep understanding of guest attitudes and behaviors to build out industry-leading plans that achieve Target’s business objectives. Your broad Marketing expertise will support your assigned categories and campaigns to maximize relevance and competitive advantage. Your commitment to partnership and collaboration will rally & inspire internal and external partners across functions—from merchants to vendors to industry influencers. As a Senior Marketing Manager, Guest Marketing Strategy of Essentials & Beauty, you will lead marketing strategy development, planning & execution and oversee owned brand activation while spearheading new initiatives to better serve our guest. This role requires strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills along with accountability and attention to detail. You will translate business goals and guest insights into actionable and measurable marketing strategies. In your role, you will manage relationships with internal teams, agencies and external partners while leveraging the channel expertise of a broad cross-functional team. Here, your ability to bring teams together to create holistic and effective marketing plans across many disciplines will enable us to meet the guest where they are. You will shape strategic narratives to gain buy-in from marketing leaders, external and enterprise partners alike.

About you:

• Four-year degree required, Marketing emphasis or major preferred

• 8+ years of related work experience

• Proven track record of driving successful strategic marketing strategy and bias for action to deliver flawless execution instrumental to enterprise success

• Curiosity and drive to deeply understand guest needs, segmentation and the business, and the ability to analyze, interpret and synthesize data into a compelling story

• Tenacity and courage to champion bold ideas, consistently strive to improve the work, learn from results and be the voice of the guest and business

• Proven leadership skills and ability to collaboratively engage key stakeholders across the organization at the right times to complex solve problems, while keeping partners informed, engaged and involved along the way

• Strong creative and media acumen with ability to leverage data to draft a compelling strategy and assess work against the defined strategy & objectives

• Marketing, brand or agency experience preferred

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
