nature of positionThe incumbent will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic marketing campaigns to support the growth and expansion of company products and services. The Specialist develops both internal and external communications campaigns and works with business units and as part of a fully integrated marketing and communications team to coordinate content development, design, and production. Serves as senior brand ambassador for the organization ensuring final products are consistent and on-brand in all formal internal and external communication vehicles.Interacts with advertising and marketing vendors to effectively promote CHFA and its programs. Stays abreast of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly.

essential functionsDevelops and Implements Strategic Marketing and Communications Campaigns to Support Business Objectives• Serves as liaison to division management for marketing and communications projects and campaigns, proactively identifying needs to advance business goals• Collaborates with marketing team and business areas on the conceptualization, development, and implementation of strategic marketing and communication plans for CHFA, its products, and services• Develops and regularly updates marketing and communications project plans to ensure deadline and project management among diverse stakeholders• Partners with research and product development teams to develop and test effectiveness of marketing content and product positioning via focus groups, surveys, and stakeholder engagement• Researches subject matter, marketing trends, and audience to inform campaign strategy and messaging;• Translates and adapts traditional and evolving communications and marketing methodologies to support the business needs and impact communication tactics• Serves as chief marketing copywriter, creating content and coordinating with graphic designers on design layout for new and existing product promotional materials including flyers, reports, digital media, letters, power point presentations, direct mail, social media, and advertisements• Ensures brand alignment and compliance of quality output and standards

Coordinate Advertising Buys and Placement• Understands production trends and goals to identify advertising needs to reach production goals• Research advertising opportunities to match marketing and communications objectives and key audiences• Serves as lead liaison with advertising vendors and representatives• Develops and implements annual advertising strategy utilizing a variety of mediums including, print, TV, radio, and digital resources• Manages annual advertising budget including contract review and invoice management• Manages and executes insertion, production, and approval of ads, ensuring ads are inserted and display accurately per contract agreement• Maintains dashboard of ROI and other metrics regarding campaign impacts; collects information and data to prepare monthly reports that analyze campaign results• Evaluates campaign results, reports effectiveness of advertising placement, and makes changes as indicated

Brand Management• Creates and maintains the organization's writing style guide and train staff on usage• Maintains the organization's brand through review and/or creation of written communication• Serves as chief copy editor for all organization communication materials• Supports CHFA staff with website page copy development and ensure website is on-brand verbally and consistently aligned with marketing and communication strategy

Overall• Develops strong working relationship with other business units• Provides consultation and solutions for all creative and content issues• Assists in company event logistics and deployment• Participates and contributes in all activities and/or projects that directly support CHFA in fulfilling its mission and achieving its vision through dedication to the community in which CHFA serves, operational excellence, and fiscal responsibility• Fully understands laws and regulations to ensure proper compliance and oversight on business processes• Other projects related to achieving the overall goals of the division and CHFA• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
