About the Role

The Marketing Manager is responsible for initiating and driving marketing strategies and plan development for various data analytics solutions for the insurance industry, including our identity management and insurance acquisition and retention solutions. This position will manage and support marketing activities including but not limited to value proposition and messaging development, demand generation activities (digital advertising, content marketing, email communications, events and webinars), content and sales tool development, and industry specific marketing communications to internal and external stakeholders.

This role will work with marketing leadership, business stakeholders, product management, sales, marketing centers of excellence and other functional areas to ensure that marketing efforts are on target/on brand and meet the needs of the organization from a lead generation, customer retention and thought leadership position.

ResponsibilitiesDeveloping fully integrated strategic marketing plans with objectives for awareness, demand generation and retention

Evaluating new channels, benchmarking, and reporting performance to drive lead generation for qualified opportunities across our markets

Creating high-impact messaging and thought leadership content, including eBooks, infographics, white papers, and more, for various channels such as web, social, blogs, video, print, etc.

Overseeing creative development of marketing materials and coordinating promotion activities with internal stakeholders, and external agencies/ vendors

Tracking, analyzing and reporting marketing results per initiative.

Executing marketing deliverables and tactics such as direct mail, digital advertising, email marketing, events, social media marketing, webinars, etc.

Requirements

Must have experience working in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and partners

Have extensive experience in messaging and value proposition development

Must have a minimum of 7-10 years in-depth, business-to-business consultation and strategy development

Experienced with Information Technology, Data Analytics and Start-up organizations preferred. Insurance industry marketing experience a plus.

Have proven experience in using contact management systems, CRM and/or marketing databases.

Experience with integrated lead generation/nurturing, up-sell/cross-sell, and retention programs and processes

4-year College Degree (preferably in Marketing, Communications or Business) or equivalent in work experience.

Have experience with budgeting and planning processes

Must have extensive content marketing experience including the ability to create content for various mediums and supervise contract writers and agencies for desired output.

Experience in leading projects in their entirety and in handling multiple projects with strong project management

Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
