Job Description

JOB SCOPE:The Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns for each one of our markets in Puerto Rico (Spanish) and US Virgin Islands, including coordinating with internal teams, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.

JOB SUMMARY:The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns at the store and market level for the Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands markets. This individual will support the Marketing Manager in collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and marketing vendors to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives, creating compelling materials while monitoring and analyzing campaign performance. Additionally, this individual will execute local events and competitor activities to ensure the overall success of the marketing strategies.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing Campaign Coordination: Assists in the execution of marketing campaigns and in-store events specific to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, including ROPs (newspaper), circulars, radio, YouTube ads, social media posts, and any in-store promotional activities as directed by the Marketing ManagerSocial Media Management: Assists in creating content for social media campaigns online to grow the brand's audience; manages social media platforms for each store, including scheduling and community engagement; monitors adherence to the Social Media guidelines for all external communicationsReporting: Measures the success of local marketing efforts and provides feedback to leadershipCoordinates Marketing Materials with third party vendors to include print, online, and social media content; assists in coordinating the production of marketing collateral, such as ROPs, brochures, flyers, and promotional items, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelinesMarketing research: Stays up-to-date on each market's trends and competitive landscape; works directly with the stores by having weekly calls to get feedback and react as necessaryPerforms other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree1-2 years of related experienceUp to 25% travel18 years of age or older

Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and a passion for marketingAbility to research new business ideas and make well-thought-out recommendationsExperience in digital and in-store marketing and merchandising environmentExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and analytical skills a mustAbility to balance multiple projects simultaneously and drive initiatives to completionAbility to travel (up to 10%)Bilingual (English/Spanish)
