Position Overview:

The Marketing Manager/Marketing ScrumMaster will be instrumental in developing and executing Ascendle's marketing strategies. This role demands an innovative, creative, and analytical individual capable of managing multiple digital marketing campaigns concurrently, ranging from content creation and social media management to campaign reporting/analysis and event planning. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong grasp of marketing principles, a passion for technology, and a proactive attitude.

This versatile professional will create, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, web, and social media. Responsibilities also include developing and managing content for marketing collateral, overseeing projects like marketing automation, website rebuilds, and new product launches, and driving lead generation and content distribution across different platforms.

We are looking for a marketing leader who consistently pioneers innovative lead generation strategies. This individual thrives on exploring new advertising platforms, uncovering untapped marketing channels, and forging strategic partnerships with relevant digital publications. Their proactive and data-driven approach has a proven track record of exceeding lead generation goals by anticipating campaign needs and proposing solutions ahead of time. This is a full-time, project-based short-term role requiring the candidate to work 40 hours per week. While the position is initially set for a limited duration, there is a possibility of extending it based on project needs and performance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to make a significant impact within a defined timeframe. We prefer candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone to align with our team's working hours.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation Pioneer:

Develops and implements unconventional yet effective lead generation tactics by exploring new platforms, channels, and strategic partnerships.Utilizes a data-driven approach to consistently surpass lead generation targets, anticipating campaign needs and proposing solutions proactively.Content Creation Mastermind:

Crafts compelling video, audio scripts, and social media content across platforms.Collaborates with designers and editors to ensure high-quality content production.Stays abreast of content marketing trends to create fresh, engaging content for various formats (blogs, social media, etc.)Manages content calendars and web content updates, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.Campaign Management Guru:

Plans, executes, and analyzes marketing campaigns across various channels (digital advertising, email marketing, SEO/SEM).Develops and executes targeted marketing campaigns across multiple channels to reach a defined audience.Analyzes campaign performance and optimizes strategies for continuous improvement.Collaborates with the sales team to ensure marketing and sales efforts are aligned.Monitors and reports on campaign effectiveness using analytics tools.Works with the business development team to align marketing efforts with lead generation goals.Assists with email marketing, PPC, and social media campaigns.Brand Champion:

Ensures consistent application of brand guidelines across all marketing materials and communications.Conducts market research to identify trends and inform marketing strategies.Supports senior management by providing market research and insights.Assists with the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies.Marketing Operations Pro:

Implement and manage tracking pixels across various digital marketing platforms to monitor campaign performance and user behavior, ensuring accurate data collection and actionable insights for optimization strategies.Manages various marketing projects (marketing automation, website rebuilds, new product launches, A/B testing).Coordinates and promotes company events, webinars, and trade shows.Tracks relevant metrics and KPIs.Stays up-to-date with social media and marketing trends and best practices.Additional Gems:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required5+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the technology or software development industry, with a strong track record of success.Proven ability to work effectively within an Agile marketing framework, such as Scrum.
