So if you think you might be a good fit for the role, but don't necessarily meet every single requirement on the job posting, we still encourage you to apply.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORRetail Marketing ManagerThe Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for working with our customers and manufacturer partners to develop and implement effective pet wellness marketing strategies to drive traffic, category awareness, conversions, sales, and engagement for our customers online and in their retail stores.

They will work closely with various teams, including sales, category management, merchandising, and marketing, to create cohesive and impactful marketing campaigns that enhance the pet owner experience and achieve business objectives.This is a full-time, remote position .WHAT YOU’LL DODevelop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive traffic, category awareness, conversions, sales, and pet owner engagement for our customers online and in their retail stores.

Define target pet owner segments at our various Customers and tailor marketing initiatives to meet their needs and preferences and to enhance customer retention and loyalty.

Plan, implement, and manage multi-channel marketing initiatives including promotions, digital marketing, and traditional advertising.

Provide marketing support for customer launches and other sales initiatives.

Oversee strategy and planning processes, including timelines and deliverables.

Maximize the medication and diet product category by negotiating with manufacturer partners to maximize support and integrating economic analysis and merchandising initiatives into a cohesive category strategy.

Provide guidance on strategy for future growth based on data-driven marketing and personalization capabilities, including how to package new opportunities to customers and manufacturer partners.

Develop forecasts for our marketing and promotional activities, analyze the performance and share out with major stakeholders. Integrate learnings go forward to optimize results.

Monitor industry-related economic trends, collect and process economic and statistical data.

WHAT YOU BRINGBachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field or equivalent experience/training.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail marketing or a related role.

Previous pet medication and therapeutic diet experience required.

Experience building productive relationships with sales and sales operations teams.

Orientation to action and execution by taking ownership and driving results in an environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns with experience managing complex projects, meeting deadlines, and handling several projects at a time with high attention to detail, prioritization, planning, and task delegation.

Deep understanding of data-driven e-commerce conversion strategies, customer acquisition and retention strategies, pet owner behavior, marketing principles and category management.

Strong understanding of retail trends, customer behavior, and marketing principles.
