Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Data Analyst to join the Creative Studio for one of our largest Retail clients. In this role you will be driving the Creative Data and Reporting Strategy by collecting data from multiple sources, running a deep analysis, and providing actionable insights for the Creative team to use to optimize. You will build a more automated reporting system, provide key dashboards to creative leaders, and help our businesses optimize their creative campaigns to drive traffic, improve ways of working to increase efficiencies and reduce waste, and improve planning to maximize resources. You will work closely with cross functional partners to develop and implement strategies that improve and enhance the overall customer experience. In this role, new data models and analysis will help determine effectiveness and business impact to a variety of initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong data and reporting skills, attention to detail, ability to manage and shift priorities as needed, and predictive problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

- Use multiple data sources to build and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and conduct ad hoc deep dives as required, to support key business processes and collaborate with stakeholders in exploring new growth opportunities.

- Own, track, analyze, and build out reporting for key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Translate complex data and methodology into strategic, operationally practical insights.

- Demonstrate strategic and thought leadership in developing new quantitative models using statistical techniques.

- Visualize and synthesize your analytics work appropriately for audiences across the spectrum (executives, marketers, merchandisers, etc.).

- The goal of this role is to assist the marketing/creative teams with strategic growth through analysis on creative campaign focus in relation to return on goals.

- Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of creative marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reporting.

- Measure resourcing and capacity for each marketing vertical and recommend adjustments to maximize ROI.

- Produce and maintain metrics reports for campaigns activities and creative team to determine effectiveness and business impact to drive optimization.

- Evaluate industry trends, market conditions, and conduct competitive analysis to analyze benchmarks and identify new opportunities.

- Present analysis and strategy recommendations to creative leadership on a regular basis.

Skills and Requirements

3-5 years of relevant work experience in analytics and data, ideally within a marketing organization.

Experience with dashboard development i.e tableau.

Demonstrated ability to extract, conceptualize and communicate the significant patterns from data that identifies meaningful business opportunities.

Ability to explain complex technical processes to less technically minded individuals.

The right candidate will also have experience with the following tools/programs:

o Query languages: SLQ, SAS, etc.

o Experience with testing tools such as Adobe Test & Target

o Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Raw, chart.js, etc.

o Experience with Adobe Analytics and other analytics tools

o Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience in data profiling and solid understanding of data warehousing a plus. null
