The Crisis Center for South Suburbia is a non-profit community organization that provides emergency shelter and other essential services for individuals and families victimized by domestic violence and addresses the societal issues that contribute to domestic violence.

Today, the Crisis Center for South Suburbia operates a 54-bed emergency shelter and has an annual impact on the lives of more than 10,000 people. With a staff of more than 85 employees and a budget of over seven million dollars, the Crisis Center continues to grow while offering free services to Chicago’s south suburban communities.

Job Title: Online Sales & NR Marketing Manager Program: Neat Repeats Reports to: Sales & Volunteer Officer Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm occasional nights/weekends Classification: Full Time-Exempt | Salary Band: Manager SUMMARY: The Online Sales & Neat Repeats Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing, communications and special event planning oversight for Neat Repeats. The Online Sales & NR Marketing Manager is responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy to build understanding and support for the mission of the Crisis Center and enhance the reputation of the organization and its resale stores. The Online Sales & NR Marketing Manager manages the marketing and communications plan for raising awareness, building partnerships and ensuring top notch customer engagement. The position demands the full range of communication skills, both creative and technical: impactful copy-writing and effective messaging, graphic design, photography, and experience in using electronic media and social media platforms to support institutional goals. |

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Run Campaigns: Create and execute online effective sales campaigns on Shopify and other e-commerce platforms.

Innovative Strategies: Develop creative ways to attract and convert customers, including special promotions and targeted marketing.

Set Sales Goals: Develop and achieve sales targets for our online sales platform.

Manage Quotas: Monitor and meet annual sales quotas.

Track Performance: Stay updated on market trends, channels and adjust strategies as needed.

Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to assist in all aspects of online including but not limited to shopping the brick-and-mortar stores for product.

Project Sales: Forecast sales volume and profitability.

Analyze Data: Use sales data to identify trends and improve performance.

Execute a robust and effective marketing strategy to meet the needs of Neat Repeats

· Actively generate new leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships.

· Maintain and build customer relationships to drive customer retention, working with internal teams to ensure our operational efficiencies and service levels meet and exceed customer expectations.

· Maintain accurate and quality sales records and prepare sales and activity reports as required.

· Able to provide accurate budget forecasting in respect to sales quota on a regular basis.

· Must be able to demonstrate ability to consistently maintain partner relationships.

· Develop a strong pipeline and generate revenue to meet or exceed the targets as set by the company.

· Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions that drive customer value.

· Develops and executes an annual communications/marketing plan designed to advance the sales of the stores through all its forms and strategic objectives of the Crisis Center for South Suburbia.

· Develops and maintains standards for the resale store brand, editorial and visual identities.

· Responsible for ensuring that the website is maintained with timely, up to date, and relevant content, proper messaging, and correct grammar and spelling for all NR content areas.

· Responsible for ensuring that all NR communications including social media posts are timely, on brand, ethically designed, and relevant.

· Either internally or with outside vendors, coordinate all graphic design needs.

· Create NR online style guide and communicate expectations to full team.

· Assist with photo opportunities and maintain historical and current photo files.

Develop and disseminate effective communications

· Lead the effort to build and execute the NR communications calendar, maintaining a clear focus on organizational priorities while remaining responsive to constituent requests.

· Ensure resale store information, messages and themes are consistent, cohesive and reinforced across all platforms, both print and electronic.

· Promote relevant agency news through NR platforms and to local media outlets as appropriate.

· Design and publish advertisements of store sales in internal and external publications as needed.

· Assist with the maintenance of a robust portfolio of professional and staff-generated photography and videos of agency events, facilities, programs and personnel for use in publications, both print and digital; maintain client confidentiality.

· Ensure that all photo/name releases and release of information forms are completed and maintained according to best practices for all featured in any agency-generated communications.

· Contribute to agency publications ensuring that NR is well represented.

Organizational/Administrative responsibilities:

· Develop metrics that define success, assess effectiveness, and measure progress; regularly provide reports to leadership as needed and/or as requested.

· Implement “best practice” policies and procedures for communications as articulated by professional and accreditation organizations.

· Responsible for developing, overseeing, and adhering to all Online Sales and Advertising/Marketing Budgets for the stores.

· Recruit and supervise any interns and volunteers needed.

Participates as a contributing and supportive member of the Neat Repeats Team.

· Completes all reporting and data gathering as requested.

· Prepares and actively participates in regularly scheduled one-on-one supervisory meetings with the Sales and Volunteer Officer.

· Actively participates in all NR Team meetings and agency management meetings.

· Performs other duties as assigned.
