At eBay Motors Design, we collaborate closely with diverse teams to tackle complex interaction challenges and elevate the core experience for our global customer base. You'll design seamless experiences across mobile and desktop platforms, leveraging emerging technologies and strategic partnerships to innovate and enhance user journeys.

Develop and refine groundbreaking experiences from concept to execution, leveraging existing insights, design patterns, and strategic approaches to elevate eBay Motors' e-commerce experience.

Lead Strategic Alignment:

Spearhead the alignment of cross-functional leadership on both short-term roadmap initiatives and long-term visions for enhancing personalized shopping experiences within the automotive sector.

Mentorship and Growth:

Utilize your expertise to mentor and nurture the growth of fellow designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.

Enhance Design Capabilities:

Contribute to advancing eBay's design capabilities by collaborating across teams to create cohesive and seamless shopping experiences across mobile and desktop platforms.

What you will bring:Product Design Experience:

Over 5 years of professional experience in product design within complex ecosystems, demonstrating a hands-on approach to delivering end-to-end customer experiences.

Passion for Design Craft:

A deep-seated passion for product and interaction design, consistently refining skills and exploring new methodologies to enrich your design toolkit.

Exemplary Portfolio:

Showcase expertise in storytelling, design strategy, and product design proficiency through a portfolio that inspires teams and achieves ambitious objectives.

Collaborative Spirit:

Proven success collaborating directly with product managers, content designers, researchers, and engineers to craft cohesive product solutions as part of a unified team.

Data-Driven Decision-Making:

Comfortable using product analytics and user experience research to formulate and iterate on design hypotheses, ensuring optimal solutions that meet customer needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.$135,200 - $205,700

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
