About the Team and the Role
eBay Live is redefining the shopping experience by bringing real-time, interactive, and curated live events to buyers worldwide. From collectibles and fashion to luxury goods and sports memorabilia, we’re connecting communities with sellers and creators through innovative, engaging live programming. As a Live Shopping Production Coordinator Producer, you will be responsible for executing and optimizing live shopping events, ensuring seamless production, seller collaboration, and audience engagement. This role reports to the eBay Live leadership team and works closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and data science.
What You Will Accomplish
- Support and oversee the end-to-end production of eBay Live shopping events, ensuring seamless execution and engaging viewer experiences.
- Support in creation of processes, playbooks, and cross functional shareouts regarding Live programming.
- Manage live video and audio production, including RTMP streaming operations involving OBS Studio, HDMI/SDI/NDI camera operations, and the native eBay Live Platform, networking, and RTMP streaming setups.
- Collaborate with category managers, sellers, and hosts to curate compelling live shopping events aligned with eBay’s e-commerce goals.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics such as GMV, viewer engagement, returning buyers, and event saves to optimize event strategies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and quality of eBay Live events.
- Work with marketing teams to develop pre-show promotions, push notifications, and event branding to improve reach and audience engagement.
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years of experience in live video production, event management, or e-commerce content production.
- Strong understanding of live streaming technologies, including video switching, OBS Studio, RTMP setups, and NDI networking.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with sellers, hosts, and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple live productions, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Experience analyzing performance metrics and using data-driven insights to refine live shopping formats and improve user experience.
- Passion for live commerce, digital media, and delivering engaging and innovative shopping experiences.
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$122,800 - $163,900
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
