As a Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and establishing long-term partnerships that support our league's growth and success.Job Summary:

The Director of Sales is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing sponsorship opportunities for the league. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and a passion for sports. You will work closely with the marketing and events teams to create compelling sponsorship packages that meet the needs of both the league and its partners.Key Responsibilities:Identify and target potential sponsors through direct sales, cold calling, market research and networking.Ability to work independently, as we are an emerging business with few employees.Develop and present customized sponsorship proposals that align with the league's brand and sponsor objectives.Negotiate and finalize sponsorship agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.Maintain and nurture relationships with existing sponsors to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership renewal.Collaborate with the President to deliver on sponsorship commitments, including branding, activation, and hospitality.Monitor and report on sponsorship performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the league and generate new business leads.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in sponsorship sales and sports marketing.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in sponsorship sales, preferably within the sports industry.Self-starter, motivated to win, and can do so independently.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and securing high-value sponsorship deals.Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative sponsorship solutions.Knowledge of sports marketing, branding, and activation.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel and attend events as required.What We Offer:Competitive salary and commission structure.Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.A vibrant and inclusive work environment within the exciting world of professional sports.How to Apply:
