The successful candidate will be a driven professional with a strong background in media relations, particularly with top-tier business and financial trade publications. They should be adept at proactively pitching complex stories, managing reputational issues, and have a proven track record of building and retaining strong media relationships. This role is pivotal in developing and executing global PR strategy, with a focus on serving as a media handler for senior executives and working closely with regional and global PR teams, business marketing functions, and PR agencies. The ideal candidate will be outcome-driven, with excellent writing and editing skills, and experienced in developing media-engaging social and digital content. Key responsibilities for this role at the company include developing differentiated earned media platforms, supporting executive communications, and executing communication planning and messaging. The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, global environment, and demonstrate a 'client-service' approach for internal stakeholders. Experience in media relations and PR across corporate functions, including Inclusion and Diversity, CSR, and ESG, is essential. The role demands a professional who is able to navigate complex industries and large organizations, and who is skilled at producing compelling reports and analysis to demonstrate campaign results. A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in the communications or public relations field, with a focus on asset management, and a Bachelor's degree are required.
