Description

The mid-level Graphic Designer will serve on a cross-functional team to create digital and printed assets for multiple projects across the CharacterStrong brand and sub-brands. From creating eye-catching social media graphics and lead generators for marketing, to on-brand content for use on our website, curricula, or posters to display in school hallways, this role provides a wide range of far-reaching impacts in the education space. Teachers and students across all 50 states and 15 countries will see this work daily.

Develop high-quality digital artwork, hand-lettered illustrations, and vector graphics for curriculum, merchandise, social media posts, and webpagesDesign assets for lessons, print materials, and marketing emailsWork with cross-functional teams including marketing representatives, art director, sales, and curriculum experts, to problem solve and execute on creative visionSolve complex user and business problems using design thinkingCreate innovative presentation and document templates using google slides and google docsUnderstand the differences in color modes and file types for a range of successful implementations across print and webWork with and support teams across the company by creating digital contentContinue to build and innovate on the current design of CharacterStrong and bring content into a cohesive wholeSupport in maintaining brand alignment across all digital spaces and enhancing design excellencePerforms other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or other related discipline3+ years of experience in graphic design or related fieldA desire to create excellent, beautiful, meaningful things, always striving under a 1% better mentalityFluency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and FigmaAn online portfolio of quality work. It should demonstrate conceptual and critical thinking, an eye for visual design, and mastery of interactive interfacesKnowledge of established best practices and current design trendsAbility to present, sell ideas, and explain design thinking to the teamAbility to self-direct and clearly communicate on a fully remote teamAbility to receive and implement feedback effectivelyQuality work delivered on deadline and budget in a fast-paced environmentStrong experience achieving a holistic design vision for a SaaS product and brandBenefits Package
