Marketing Coordinator

to join our team. This position will work closely with the firm's Head of Marketing and Business Development to assist with firm initiatives in the areas of marketing, business development, and community involvement with a focus on driving engagement and storytelling.

Position Overview:

The ideal Marketing Coordinator candidate will possess 2-5 years of marketing and/or event experience, a strong commitment to client service, creativity, attention to detail, ability to problem solve, and will be proactive with ideas/solutions.

Job Description:

This candidate will be responsible for:Developing editorial calendars and communications plans for the firm and marketing campaigns in line with long-term goalsMaking regular website updates and additions as requested, including website pagesAssisting with event management, including all logistical details (event planning, set up, RSVPs, follow up, etc.)Assist with coordinating and executing all marketing communications and presentation materials, including brochures and literature, newsletters, press releases, and other materialsSupporting business development activities and assisting with proposalsCoordinating with an outsourced designer and providing basic graphic design for internal communications and social mediaManage and update marketing files and database informationMaintain inventory of promotional materials [i.e., brochures, flyers, giveaways, etc.]Maintain monthly marketing reporting including social media statistics, web traffic, and newsletter informationOther marketing, business development and graphic design tasks as neededEssential Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of previous experience in marketing, digital media, social media, communications, business development or related fieldsSelf-starter with strong project management skills as well as initiative to start and work on projects independentlyAbility to work with many different teams, staff levels, and disciplines simultaneouslyAbility to work with all personality types, provide thought leadership, and represent the firm's brand at external functionsOrganized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong interpersonal and presentation skillsExcellent written and verbal communications, including grammar and spellingAbility and availability to participate in networking events, some after hoursPossess creativity and proactively present new ideas for the firmProficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Experience in Constant Contact/Mailchimp and WordPressDesign experience in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is preferredPrior work experience in social media marketing specifically (but not limited to) Facebook, LinkedIn, and InstagramHands-on experience with SEO and web analytics tools (Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager) preferredOccasional travel is required. Approximately 15%
