The Senior Manager of Global Strategic Marketing will drive the Cardiovascular Franchise in the development and execution of the marketing strategy, with focus on the ultrasound portfolio. The Senior Manager will shape the intracardiac echo (ICE) market in structural heart, including left atrial appendage devices and heart valves applications to drive short and long-term growth. This includes a keen focus on leading and coordinating critical processes related to business planning, strategic marketing plans, portfolio management and development, market research, new product launches, business performance tracking and multi-channel marketing.

An effective Senior Marketing Manager will use insights about unmet needs, market trends, voice of customer, and a deep understanding of our competitors to develop strong strategic plans. You will lead a cross-functional team to develop groundbreaking technology and world class commercial strategies that grow the business globally and deepen customer dedication for the Biosense Webster brand.

Shape the global strategy for Biosense Webster ICE adoption in the cardiovascular space, with focus on the structural heart market.

Drive the cross-functional and cross-organizational delivery of the strategy and global product portfolio marketing plans, including value propositions, positioning, segmentation, and pricing.

Deliver results – achieve worldwide business objectives and drive leadership position for Biosense Webster and ICE platform.

Understand and anticipate customer needs. Ensure that appropriate customer input is gathered for new and existing products.

Develop and drive global customer engagement strategy.

Shape product development scenarios and drive optimal lifecycle management.

Formulate pipeline recommendations and priorities while leading strategy and business plans including support to all business development related opportunities.

Analyze competitors and ensure competitive strategies are in place for new and existing products.

Create global launch plans, ensuring clear value propositions for new and existing products.

Responsible for clinical claims development and evidence generation strategy.

Partner with broader commercial team globally to optimally deliver on business plans and implement global strategies in each region.

Collaborate with Global Education, R&D, Program Management, Regional Marketing (US and OUS), Clinical and New Business Development for strategic plan formulation and execution.

Work with a hardworking and committed team to advance the use of ICE in the cardiovascular space.

Stay hungry and curious – constantly bringing new insights and ideas to the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field required. Advanced degree (e.g., M.B.A.) is highly preferred.

8 years of related business experience or 6 years with MBA or PhD.

Previous experience in Medical Device or healthcare environment, with proven ability to learn complex technology and clinical applications is required.

Experience developing and launching new products is required. The successful candidate will collaborate with US sales and OUS commercial organizations to execute plans and successfully launch programs and products.

Experience in strategic marketing is strongly preferred.

Previous experience in cardiac ultrasound and/ or structural heart market preferred.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Strong financial acumen.

Demonstrated success working in a collaborative environment.

Worldwide or international experience preferred.

30% travel including weekends (domestic and international).

Proven behaviors as a strong partner and team player, especially with functions including global education, R&D, commercial field leadership, regulatory affairs, clinical affairs, and operations/planning/manufacturing.
