Product Manager, HIV Community Liaison Marketing

will report to the Senior Director of Community Liaison Marketing and will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of all CL resources. Additionally, the SPM will maintain CL account systems and plan including mapping and prioritization (Veeva, GPro). They will orchestrate key HIV events ensuring engagement across the organization and alignment within our commercial strategic priorities. As a part of the HIV Franchise Marketing team, the SPM will provide support across the portfolio of products from HIV Treatment to HIV Prevention medications, as well as above and across brands. The successful candidate is a dynamic, experienced individual with a proven ability to develop and pull through key initiatives in portfolio marketing.Knowledge And Skills:Support the development and implementation of the HIV Community Liaison marketing strategy and all Community Liaison's deployed resources and programs inclusive of above brand and brand level assets for CL team utilization.Drive execution of core tactics through the management and partnership with external agencies, internal cross-functional partners, brand marketing and CL team. Regularly measures the success of initiatives.Develop and lead key elements of the CL promotional strategy aligned to the franchise and brand campaigns.Gain approval for marketing materials through internal review process including management reviews and Med-Legal-Reg. Secure final production.Work across internal and external partners to ensure timely availability of Marketing materials across Gilead systems, both digital and print. Bring resourcefulness to navigate & overcome barriers.Work cross-functionally with CLs, CL Leadership, Legal, Regulatory, Medical and other key internal stakeholders.Provide tactical and strategic input on key planning teams such as: conventions, national meetings, and field training.Analyze market and brand growth opportunities and provide logical recommendations; lead any required action planning.Compile and analyze multiple data sources to support the team in developing insights and measuring the performance of different programs and tactics, as directed by senior team members.Monitor, analyze, and report industry trends, competitive practices; and learnings from our internal market research team to inform recommendations.Manage the professional marketing budget and project timelines.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and eight years of experienceMasters' Degree and six years of experiencePreferred Qualifications:3 years of marketing experienceTrack record of success in pharmaceutical/biotech marketingPrevious experience as a Community Liaison or in SalesMBA, MPH, MSW or other advanced business degreeExperience with core promotion of marketing strategy, sales and regulatory policies and practicesAbility to conceive, develop and implement multi-dimensional marketing and business plansProven ability in the execution of multiple initiatives within the marketing mix which require tactful cross-functional executionDemonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materialsAbility to successfully work with external agencies, including advertising, public relations and medical education vendors to develop programs and materialsStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills and ability to efficiently and productively communicate to a variety of groups and audiencesMust possess an aptitude for creative thinking and problem-solvingMust be able to adapt and thrive within a fast-paced and dynamic environmentProven ability to work well as part of a teamTherapeutic area-specific experience (HIV Treatment and/or HIV Prevention)Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, with an understanding of expense budget planning and trackingThis position may require up to 25% domestic travel
