POSITION SUMMARY:The Marketing Events Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining all assets associated with in-house certification courses, tradeshows, events, (e.g., Booth, literature, demo products, etc.) and assists with campaigns to support sales and marketing activities.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Planning and execution of in-house education courses, creation and publishing of event registration page, including registration of attendees, coordination of travel for participants, meal and refreshment planning, preparation of course materials and issuing of certificates.Plan and fully execute events, Including in-house parties, luncheons, meetings as well as external events.Monitor and oversee events from preparation and set-up through teardown to ensure adherence to planned format, compliance with regulations, cooperation between vendors, resolution of issues, and overall satisfaction of participants and sponsors. Together with the Marketing Team, ensure that all events align properly with Ride Designs brand guidelines.Maintain and negotiate contracts with venue personnel, caterers, hospitality staff, A/V providers, and other vendors to acquire necessary services and activities for events while meeting budgetary objectives.Maintain a shared event and Certification course calendar to communicate regularly with members of the Marketing, Education, and Sales teams.Perform post-event tasks promptly such as Post event surveys with clients to ensure satisfaction, reviewing invoices and bills, approving payments, following up with collected customer contacts and documenting issues and resolutions.Support the distribution of all marketing campaigns, communications, and promotions out of an established marketing tool and process.Coordination of travel for attendees to and from in-house events.Perform certification program administrative tasks including, but not limited to participant registration, verifying completion of coursework, updating and maintenance of electronic records, communicating with various stakeholders, generating and issuing certificates.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma, supplemented by two years in marketing, sales, event planning or a related field; Bachelor's degree highly desirable.Highly knowledgeable in principles and practices of marketing, event management and facility rentalsExceptional verbal and written communication skills.Highly organized with the ability to work and make decisions independently.Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.Accountable, self-motivated, problem solver.Good interpersonal skills with innate ability to work cross-functionally.Computer literacy: Strong computer skills, including Excel, but must also be strong in MS Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, ability to navigate/maintain event planning platforms.COMPETENCIES:
