Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a Store Designer who will be an individual contributor responsible for producing designs (from floor plans to storefront elevations), according to particular design guidelines and standards.

Job Description:

May produces material takeoffs and communicates parts/takeoff revisions to Construction team.

May generate ideas for new concepts including store architecture, fixtures, storefronts, lighting, layout and space planning.

May assist in the review of construction drawings for design intent.

Presents designs to leadership to solicit, analyze and incorporate feedback.

May review site information from landlords and drawings from consultants.

May resolve all design guidance to purchasing and construction teams.

Typically reports to Design Manager. Typically no direct reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Industrial Design or equivalent experience.

1-3 years experience of retail design in a corporate environment or in a design consultancy firm.

Must be proficient in ACAD, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite.

Soft skills - flexible and open minded.

Nice to have - can review technical shop drawings and experience with furniture.**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
