The Production Artist handles the print production of our Custom, OEM, and company branded in-house product imprinting, such as guitar picks, drumheads, practice pads, drumsticks, etc, and additionally providing assistance on pre-press for various other print collateral.

This position requires meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent and high-quality results in a fast-paced workflow, as well as learning our printing equipment and capabilities.

This is a hybrid role and requires the candidate to work onsite in the Farmingdale, Long Island Headquarters office two days a week.

Responsibilities

Editing, processing and exporting press-ready files of our branded product artwork and high-volume daily customer artwork for print on our in-house printers, heat transfer, and pad printing machines.Create / edit art templates based on fixtures designed by our engineers.Work autonomously while maintaining collaborative relationships with Customer Service, and Artist Relations Reps, Factory Production, and Product Management.Assist designers with creating physical mockups of product packaging.Perform pre-press checks on various print collateral to prepare art for press.Contribute creative ideas on special projects such as swag, promotional items, straps, picks and drumheads.Qualifications

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AcrobatStrong graphic and print production skillsPositive work ethic with organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication and listening skills1+ years working as a Graphic Artist / Print Production ArtistMust be able to work with colleagues inter-departmentallyMust have an eye for detail and ability to perform repetitive tasksMust be able to maintain quality while meeting deadlines

The base salary range for this role would be commensurate with experience: $55-65k per year
