Our cleint's Digital Marketing & Marketing Content Operations teams are seeking a driven and skilled Social Media Content Coordinator for the game franchise. This role will report directly to the Content Operations Manager and work in tandem with the digital marketing team, the content operations team, and other key contributors such as content producers. Daily tasks include scheduling and publishing social media & video posts to official channels including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch. Other duties include managing assets, distributing assets to key partners (including global), and maintaining publishing calendars. This role contributes directly to the overall health, growth, and engagement for our social media channels. The coordinator should be comfortable and proficient working in a dynamic live operations environment, acting as the team's communication center, maintaining the most up-to-date accuracy of information, which will impact calendars and schedules. The coordinator will actively push information between teams (local, regional, internal, external), to champion cross-team efforts. The ideal candidate thrives in a highly collaborative environment and understands that proactive communication is key to success in publishing live operations. Success in the role is defined by tenacious and active pursuit of the information and assets required to distribute content on-time and in an organized fashion. Growth in the role, and on the team, is unlocked by the candidate's ability and desire to refine and develop processes and workflows that enable the team to work more efficiently.This contract role is remote; however, the coordinator is expected to work against Pacific/California time zone work hours, generally in a 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM window (includes a 60-minute lunch). Some flexibility is expected depending upon operations requirements.

Responsibilities:• Oversee day-to-day operation of the game and Esports social media and video channels, in partnership with and under the guidance of the Social Media Lead, digital marketing managers, and marketing content operations teams.• Maintain lines of communication with regional partners.• Manage assets distribution and scheduling support.• Communicate platform best practices, global strategy, and planning updates.• Act as a final quality assurance check prior to content publishing.• Manage the intake of all assets from contributing partners (marketing, community, esports, etc.) and ensure that all individual content pieces are uploaded per schedule, considering current social best practices.• Schedule and maintain the team's editorial calendar.• Partner with the Social Media Content team on both planned and quick-turn social media posts.• Collaborate with Digital Marketing Managers on maintaining the social media tracking calendar.• Partner with the audience development manager(s) to implement audience development strategies on and off YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok to increase viewership and subscriber numbers.• There may be instances in which overtime is required based on operations & content needs.• Occasionally support operations teammates on other franchise teams.

The Ideal Candidate:• 2-3 years experience in social media & video channel management.• Direct experience running large social and/or video channels for gaming or other large entertainment organizations.• Intimate understanding of the current global social media landscape and popular social networks.• Able to manage multiple concurrent platforms and workstreams.• Clear and professional written & verbal communication skills.• Collaborative and enjoys working with diverse teams and disciplines.• Proficient in Sprinklr, other social media publishing tools, or asset management systems.
