The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a motivated and qualified Brand Marketing Director to join our team!

Job Description

As the Brand Marketing Director, you will hold the pivotal role of leading and executing our strategic brand and program marketing plans with precision and finesse. This leadership position includes overseeing daily brand marketing operations as well as the planning and execution of new initiatives. If hired, you will be responsible for cultivating strategic relationships and ensuring the development of high-caliber, mission-driven campaigns.

Compensation:

$110,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year, depending on qualifications

Qualifications

A commitment to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably with experience in nonprofits and/or in membership growth.2+ years of experience in project management and developing and tracking budgets.2+ years of experience managing teams and people.Strong interpersonal skills.Advanced professional judgment in collaborative work and decision making.Experience leading positive team outcomes.Advanced time management, analytical, and critical thinking skills.Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external communications.Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.Proficiency in project management software tools, data visualization tools, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Creative and dedicated individual who embraces a diverse and collaborative team.Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.Essential Functions

Lead and oversee the strategic and creative marketing teams, providing essential guidance and support to ensure seamless end-to-end planning and execution.Partner with channel and operations marketing teams to build and execute seamless and consistent strategies across all marketing touchpoints.Foster robust relationships with internal stakeholders, leading to continual collaboration.Inspire and establish an innovation mindset that leads to new and novel marketing, advertising, and creative approaches to effectively engage diverse audiences, spanning members, staff, donors, and volunteers.Formulate and execute strategies aimed at strengthening the Y brand within both the membership base and the broader community.Ensure consistent storytelling that advances the Y’s mission and goals.Utilizing strong interpersonal skills and professional judgment to bring teams and groups together in a positive and collaborative way.Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to spearhead and prioritize membership acquisition, retention, and program enrollment initiatives.Employ a diverse array of marketing and advertising skills to bolster membership, operational, and programmatic endeavors.Forge partnerships with local directors and staff to understand and account for local marketing strategies that are tailored to the unique communities that the Y serves.Communicate acquisition, retention, and program strategies and performance metrics throughout the organization.Conduct thorough analysis of market data to propose strategic adjustments aligning with organizational objectives.
