$80,000-$100,000 annually*

Position Summary

The Product Marketing Manager leads the Augustine Institute’s curriculum marketing and brand strategy, for Word of Life. This role will serve as a SME for the primary education audience. This individual will develop effective marketing campaigns to engage Catholic educators and catechists with the content of the Word of Life curriculum to increase adoption, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate will bring a diverse experience that ranges from managing digital media campaigns to delivering campaign reports to key stakeholders and executive leadership. Deep brand & product marketing experience is an absolute must! Lifecycle marketing experience is highly desired.

The best candidates will bring a desire and passion for storytelling and eliciting emotion in Catholic educators and catechists to drive them to action. Experience with Catholic education, marketing automation, Google Marketing Platforms (GTM & GA4), Digital Media, and Agile marketing is desired. The ability to influence people and transform an organization is a must! You will help to grow Word of Life by reaching teachers and catechists with the right messaging during their decision-making process for new Catholic education resources; you will help them to understand what Word of Life can offer their students while introducing them to a wealth of additional resources available to them through the Augustine Institute.

Roles & Responsibilities

Look at holistic data on leads and existing customers to evaluate successful strategies and areas for improvement/growth.

Responsible for driving organizational success toward OKRs and KPIs, including usage statistics, adoption, and retention.

Own and champion the customer journey for Word of Life, while developing and maintaining customer personas.

Coordination and organization of all Word of Life marketing activities across all media platforms, including but not limited to email, PR, direct mail, social media, awards, agencies, communications, and events – especially the LA Religious Education Congress.­

Works closely with Creative Services and digital marketing to manage timelines and asset creation for all curriculum-related marketing, sales, and customer success efforts.

Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors whose services are used to promote Word of Life.

Serve as the primary focal point and marketing liaison for all Word of Life brand and marketing activities in collaboration with counterparts in content and technology.

Works in collaboration with Web Analytics and Reporting Manager to develop standardized reporting processes and metrics that keep goals, objectives, and performance highly visible for stakeholders across the apostolate.

Provide product management expertise in brand positioning and collaborate to execute marketplace and consumer research.

Research, analyze, and monitor economic, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and the competitive landscape.

Discover cross-selling and upselling opportunities to increase the engagement and LTV of Word of Life customers.

3+ years of experience developing professional omnichannel brand & lifecycle marketing campaigns.Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.3+ years working in Catholic education or catechesis.Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Familiarity with analytics and data reporting, especially in Google Analytics and HubSpotExperience planning and executing omnichannel campaigns in marketing automation software like HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Pardot.Experience developing marketing campaigns for B2B audiences.Process-driven with outstanding organization and project management skills, especially in prioritizing competing priorities and knowing when to say no.An understanding of the Catholic Church, general knowledge of diocesan and Catholic school organization and operations, and possesses deep empathy with the Catholic educator.Exceptional time management skills and ability to define and achieve outcomes that meet or exceed the organization’s goalsAbility to consistently demonstrate the Augustine Institute’s core values including:Humility – We serve the Augustine Institute Mission with humility and a service mindset.Collaboration – We work together as a united Body of Christ.Innovation – We encourage being creative and demonstrating a clever mindset.Excellence – We strive in everything we do to win souls for Christ.
