Summary of PositionThe JobsOhio Creative team is seeking a Creative Operations Manager to join our team. This role will empower creative workflow throughout the organization’s integrated marketing team by immersing themselves into various creative workflows, both internal and with our agency partners. They will work alongside the Director, Creative Services to support creative ideation and strategic storytelling. The role drives creative operations while identifying gaps in workflow/processes and presenting solutions to improve and optimize outcomes. They understand how to efficiently communicate project goals and objectives to move forward various creative needs including video, motion graphics, design, copywriting, photography, and more while balancing key stakeholders and navigating rigorous timelines. They are detail oriented, thrive in collaboration and excel at proactive communication. They will serve as a key point of contact for creative needs, so an understanding of creative development, processes and technical approach is key to achieving desired outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities

Drive creative operations and logistics including timelines, workflow resources and capacity projections for internal team members and agency partners—balancing day-to-day operations with new strategic initiatives.Complete ownership and execution of creative processes for our project management software and digital asset management tools.Work within an Integrated Marketing Team and meet with key stakeholders to identify project goals, scope and needs of creative projects while effectively translating creative deliverables and expectations.Efficiently and effectively manage day-to-day creative challenges and communicate proactively to various stakeholders. Understand when (and why) to escalate issues to Director, Creative Services.Constantly look for ways to identify and communicate solutions to optimize operational efficiencies/ improvements to maximize workflow and outcomes.Keeps internal teams and agency partners up to date on projects through various communication channels including project management tools, projects meetings, email and slack communications.Coordinate various creative projects including video production, photography, creative for events and advertisements and more.Responsible steward of organization resources and budgets.Support communicating creative direction and vision to assigned creative team members and agency partners to ensure projects are moving forward on time and on budget.Support creative ideation aligned with Brand Strategy goals and key stakeholder objectives.Be a brand champion— constantly align our brand visual and messaging platforms with agencies, from project kickoff through final delivery.

Experience Requirements3-5 years of creative operations experience within an advertising/marketing agency or creative teamExperience coordinating agency relationships and working with Creative teams.Experience working in Project Management Software and Digital Asset Management toolsExperience directing Agency relationships and/or manage Creative Operations.Strong vendor management and/or project management experienceStrong cross-functional team relationship managementAbility to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time-management and organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize projects with highest impactStrong attention to detail and an excellent communicatorEngaged, flexible, motivated and success drivenManage challenging situations and stakeholdersCapable of critical thinking, with an eye for detailResourceful attitude and the ability to motivate vendors to deliver quality products on budgetProficient in Excel, PowerPoint, WordTechnical knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a bonusCreative writer and/or producer skills are a bonus

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, creative or equivalent experience
